About Me

Hi!  I'm Amy, the host and producer of The Savvy Communicator.

For 15 years, I was a professional actor working everywhere from Minneapolis to Montana.  After I graduated with my Master's degree, though, I needed to pay the rent!  I had the opportunity to start working for agencies, including the FBI, US Secret Service, and Uniformed Services University, that used actors to teach communication to their students.

What started out as a fun acting job turned into a calling and a growing career.  I spent the next 15 years teaching and creating communications courses for everyone from college students to seasoned professionals.  It's truly what I love to do and every day is an adventure.  Now, I want to share what I've learned with you.
